Meta’s never-ending experiment streak is making WhatsApp more and more advanced and reliable. These modifications are making the communication process much more convenient. As communication is all about expressing yourself precisely with relevant expressions. This soon-to-be-released update will allow users to write captions and blur the images along with videos before sending them. Currently, the beta users are testing this feature for WhatsApp and the stable version will soon be rolled out for everyone.
Write Captions, Blur The Images, and Create Avatars With the New WhatsApp Update
Captioning Images And Videos
Currently, after sending an image we all have to send another text message to explain what the image is all about the receiver. But after this update captions are going to do the job. No more cluelessness during WhatsApp chats.
Blurring The Images
Now as for blurring the images and videos, “WhatsApp has developed two tools that let users edit their photographs using a different blur effect. Moreover, users can select the blur size to precisely apply the effect”, as per the reports.
You can check whether you are currently able to use this editing feature by opening the edit tool menu and finding the blur option there. Use this blurring feature before sending an image or video to utilise this feature. “WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2241.2 and new builds are marked as compatible updates”, informed the reports.
This blur update in WhatsApp was first noticed in June of this year. Presently, few desktop beta users are enjoying this feature, but it will soon be available to all with the stable update.
Creating Avatars
A few beta testers of WhatsApp have received the latest feature after updating their app from the Play Store, which allows them to create avatars for group chats that will be displayed instead of their profile pictures.
