Indian daily soaps are back on TV after a brief outage due to the ongoing pandemic. However, with COVID-19 still being a thing, a mention of hygiene and the importance of maintaining social distance on the show is evident. But the daily soap, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ took the same to the next level.
In the new episodes of the show, the actors can be seen wearing face shields and masks, which’s great tbh. But the funny part is the slow-motion that involves the actors removing face masks to add an element of surprise. Like really?
There was one I saw personally where an arati ki thali was replaced with sanitiser ki thali. And trust us, the day is not far when the romantic scenes in these soaps will involve a couple putting sanitizer on each other or finding a new way to hug.

Some snaps of the recent episodes of YRKKH were shared on the internet and people can’t stop talking about them. One among those includes a video of Alka Kaushal aka Sita Choudhary and Naira Goenka played by Shivangi Joshi in which the duo can be seen donning the protective covering (we are glad) as they go about with their usual business.
The clip, which has already been viewed nearly a million times since the time of its upload, had the internet in splits.
nah there was a scene before this romanticizing hygiene ? her man was putting on her sanitizer, gloves, EVERYTHING for her it’s mad ?

Well, it is great that people are following protection norms but seriously, using them as props for romantic and suspense scenes? Not the best of ideas.
