Your Guide To Visiting The Garden Tourism Festival In Delhi This Weekend

Delhi’s favourite, Garden Tourism Festival is back in the city and it is one event you can choose to spend your weekend at. The Garden Festival hosted at the 22 ac Garden of Five Senses in Saidulajab, Saket is an initiative to promote awareness about the importance of environment among the people.

The theme for the 33rd edition of the festival is Green Balcony, #Green Delhi, which focuses on inspiring people to set up gardens in their balcony as urban pollution is on the rise. The festival, as the organisers suggest, will have elements that will inspire people to set up gardens in their balcony to add aesthetics to both their houses and the city.

Garden Shopping

If one of your hobbies is gardening, the Garden of five senses has much for you. The place has been overwhelmed with potted plants, roses, bougainvillea, dahlias, floral animals, foliage, and much more.

The festival, set up by Delhi Tourism in collaboration with the Delhi Government, will be visited by horticulture and floriculture societies, plant nurseries, seed sellers, and horticulture suppliers, from across Delhi/NCR.

Several competitions have also been organized during the festival along with folk, cultural and pop-culture performances. The festival is open till March 1. So make sure you pay a visit for it will be worth it.
