Scientists namely John B Goodenough, Stanley Whittingham, and Akira Yoshino have been named for 2019’s Noble Prize in chemistry for developing Lithium-Ion Batteries. The development of Lithium battery was a revolutionary invention as it “created the right conditions for a wireless and fossil-fuel-free society,” said the jury.

The Nobel Prize for medicine was announced on Monday and has been conferred to 3 scientists for discovirng how cells adapt to oxygen.
