Instagram, a prominent picture and video-sharing social networking platform owned by Meta, lets you post photographs and videos with your followers. One of Instagram’s distinguishing features is the ability to publish live photographs, which are brief films that record a few seconds of action and sound.
If you wish to publish a live photo on Instagram, be sure your smartphone supports the capability. Only Apple smartphones running iOS 9 or later may take live photographs.
Step 1: Take A Live Photo As The First Step
Capturing the live shot is the first step in sharing it on Instagram. You can snap a live photo on an iPhone by opening the camera app, selecting the Live Photo option, and clicking the shutter button.
Step 2: Go to Instagram
Open the Instagram app on your phone once you’ve snapped the live photo. Enter your username and password to access your account if you haven’t already.
Step 3: Select the Plus Icon
A + icon may be seen at the bottom of the Instagram home screen. To begin the process of publishing a new photo or video, tap on this button.
Step 4: Choose a Live Photo
You’ll be transported to the photo and video selection page after tapping the plus symbol. From here, swipe left or right until you discover the live shot you wish to upload.
Step 5: Include A Caption And Hashtags
After you’ve chosen your cover image, you may add a caption and hashtags to your post. Hashtags can help your content reach a broader audience by allowing people who are looking for certain subjects or themes to find them.
Step 6: Share Your Live Photograph
After you’ve added your text and hashtags, you’re ready to share your live Instagram snap. To do so, go to the bottom of the screen and hit the “Share” button. Your live photo will be shared on Instagram, and your followers may watch the video by tapping on the cover photo.
