When it comes to wedding, seems like everyone has got unique ideas to do things differently on their D-day and literally, why not? Like only recently, a couple printed a QR code on their wedding card so that the relatives could send them cash online and avoid physical contact amidst coronavirus. And now, in a tad bit similar instance, we have this Bengali couple that has themed their wedding menu-card around Aadhaar card.
An Aadhaar card has become an important part of our lives but taking it a step further, Subarna Das and Gogol Saha, perhaps, got their wedding menu printed on a menu-themed Aadhaar card to pay a tribute to the document.
Scooping out the same template, the menu, on the front, mentions starters like Chicken Lollypop, Crispy Baby corn, Coffee, etc, followed by main course delights including Mutton Kasha, Rasogolla, Sandesh, and more.

What’s more unique is the back of the card. On the back of the card, instead of the usual card number below, the wedding date was written, along with a barcode.
An India.com report quoted Saha saying, “It was my wife Subarna’s thought, and as we both support ‘Digital India’, what could have been a better way to show support than this.”

Saha went on to share his experience and recalls how the menu card became a source of entertainment for many. Many guests, obviously, took note of the same and were thrilled to see this menu on their table. He adds that some guests even reached out to him thinking that he had accidentally left his Aadhaar card on the table.

He further adds that some guests, on encountering the unique menu card, joked that one is required to have their Aadhaar card if they wished to attend the wedding.
