UIDAI Warns Against Fraudsters
To always be one step ahead of fraudsters there are some precautions that the government always shares. This time UIDAI has decent advice for all the Aadhaar cardholders to regularly check and update their Email & Mobile Number. The government authority that allows Unique Identity Numbers has taken a step to educate people with 4 simple steps to always check whether your email and mobile number are linked with Aadhaar or not.

Earlier today UIDAI urged Aadhaar Cardholders to verify if their mobile number or email is linked with their Aadhaar card or not.
The tweet says, “#BewareOfFraudsters Always keep your mobile number updated in #Aadhaar.
If you have any doubt about whether your correct mobile number or email has been linked with Aadhaar, you can verify the same using this link.”
Verification Process
If you are not sure that your mobile number or email id is registered or linked with your Aadhaar, then you are advised to visit this link https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/verify-email-mobile provided by UIDAI and do a check.

These Are The Four Simple Steps To Verify Email And Mobile Number With Aadhaar:
- Visit this site.
- Select as it fits better out of two options ‘Verify Mobile Number’ or ‘Verify Email Address’.
- Then enter the details as per your choice in the above step, whether number or email.
- To verify your identity please enter the CAPTCHA and request OTP and enter the one you got.
Now after completing these steps if the OTP comes to your mobile number or email id, it means your information is linked with your Aadhaar.
