Why Are There Protests Against Agnipath Scheme?
Well, the aspirants are demonstrating against the four-year service term condition of this scheme. They are protesting while suggesting that neither the Country nor the job seekers will benefit from this scheme. For them, the major problem is that the Government will show an exit to the 75 per cent of the candidates selected Under the Agnipath scheme after a four-year service term.
Candidates are asserting that they will be recruited at the age of 17.5 years till they reach 21, thus they cannot be able to perform well in the short period of four years. And when leaving after the service period they obviously will not have any professional degree to start a second career.
