If you have any kind of vehicles including two-wheeler this information is important for you. A new rule has been drafted and very soon it will be made mandatory. A vehicle fitness certificate will be made mandatory and you will have to put a registration mark in front of all vehicles.
Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a draft notification that has information about this new rule. The notification was issued on February 28, 2022 on official website. The validity of fitness certificate and registration mark should be displayed on front glass as per the rules.
According to the guidelines mentioned in the draft notification every heavy goods, medium goods, passenger and light motor vehicles should have registration mark and vehicle fitness certificate on upper left side of wind screen.
For e-rickshaw, auto rickshaw and quadricycles; registration mark and vehicle fitness certificate should be on the upper left side of wind screen. On the two-wheelers the certificate and mark should be mounted in designated part of the vehicle.
