As the communal violence are boiling Delhi since last Sunday people are running for shelters to save their life. With 21 dead in violence and many injured the situation is going bad to worse in the capital.
Amidst all haterade, a Gurudwara in Delhi opened its doors for shelter. The Gurudwara in North East Delhi has been giving shelters to those who are running from aggressive mobs. Not only this the Sikh people also patrolled the area to ensure no rioter can cause further damage. The Sikh community in North Delhi, including a Gurdwara in Majnoo Ka Tila, offered to help the injured and the needy on Monday, February 24.

In Seelampur one of the area where violence broke out, Dalits blocked the roads against aggressive mobs and secured the area to give shelter to their Muslim neighbors. On Tuesday a mosque was vandalized and set on fire in Ashok Nagar’s Gali No 5 by the rioters. Police head constable Ratan Lal and IB official Ankit Sharma lost their lives in violence. Many police personnel and journalists are also reported to be injured.
