Assembly Election Results 2022: What is happening currently?       

  • BJP is leading on 263 seats in UP, SP at 135 seats
  • AAP is leading on 92 seats in Punjab, Congress at 18
  • BJP in Uttarakhand is leading on 48 seats, Congress at 18
  • In Manipur BJP is leading on 29 seats and Congress on 9
  • In Goa BJP is leading on 19 seats, Congress on 12, AAP on 3 and TMC on 3

The counting of votes over 690 seats across 5 states started from 8:00 AM today for Assembly Election Results 2022. As per the exit polls, BJP will be in lead in UP and Manipur. All eyes today are on Uttarakhand and Goa where there will be a tough fight between BJP and Congress. Most unexpected change comes from Punjab where people have voted for Aam Aadmi Party and looking for a change.

Election started on February 10 in five states of Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and Goa. UP has the highest number of seats and had to undergo polling in seven phases, Manipur had elections in two phases while as Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa had conducted polling in one phase.

In Uttar Pradesh fight is between BJP, Samajwadi Party, Congress and Bahujan Samaj Party.

In Punjab the fight is between Aam Aadmi Party, Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal, Sanyukt Sangharsh Party and BJP.

In Goa Aam Aadmi Party, BJP, Congress and TMC are in the battle. In Manipur BJP, Congress, Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Forward Bloc, Revolutionary Socialist Party and Janata Dal (Secular) are in fight.
