The deadly coronavirus is not leaving anyone behind of its effect and extent. In the latest updates, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s wife has tested positive. Trudeau’s wife Sophie Gregoire has been confirmed as being affected.
Canadian prime minister’s communications director Cameron Ahmad provided updates through a tweet. “Following medical advice, she will remain in isolation for the time being. She is feeling well, is taking all the recommended precautions and her symptoms remain mild,” read Cameron’s tweet.
The Canadian health professionals are reaching people who came in contact with Sophie. The PM Trudeau is himself said to be in good health with no symptoms as per the updates from Cameron. Sophie would now be kept in isolation for 14 days as a precautionary measure. PM’s wife also shared a personal message on Twitter confirming that she is affected by Coronavirus. She said that she would be back on her feet soon.

As of Thursday, Canada has reported at least 138 confirmed cases, according to government data. The coronavirus outbreak, which has affected at least 125,000 people worldwide, has been declared a global pandemic by WHO.
