Have you just passed your 9th grade and entered the 10th class? You will be happy to know that you can apply for a monthly scholarship now. The last date to apply for a scholarship with the Central Government under the National Income cum Merit Scholarship Scheme has been moved further. After successfully availing of this scholarship students will be able to get the monthly benefit of ₹12,000.
Monthly Scholarship For Only Performing Students
As per the National Income cum Medha Scholarship Scheme, the scholarship application submission date for the year 2022-2023 is extended till November 30, 2022. The details were released by the Ministry of Education on Thursday. Which “the objective of the National Income cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMCMSS) is to check the dropout of meritorious students from economically weaker sections at the level of class VIII and to enable such students to continue their studies at the secondary level”
Students That Are Eligible To Apply For This Scholarship
The Government releases scholarships for one lakh students every year. The students of class 9th or 12th who are studying in state Government associated schools will get the benefit of these scholarships which will help them to continue their studies without worrying financially.

Scholarship Amount Every Year
Under this scheme, as per the Ministry, “the date for applying for the year 2022-23 under NMCMSS has been extended till 30 November. This scholarship is provided to the selected students directly in their bank accounts. This is a 100% centrally sponsored scheme” mentioned by businesslegaue.
