Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Slashed: Relief for Businesses from May 1, 2025
Starting May 1, 2025, oil marketing companies have announced a welcome reduction in the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders. The cost of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been cut by Rs 14.50, bringing much-needed relief to hotels, restaurants, and small businesses that rely on LPG for daily operations.
Here’s what you’ll pay for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in major cities:
- Delhi: Rs 1,747.50
- Mumbai: Rs 1,699
- Kolkata: Rs 1,851.50
- Chennai: Rs 1,906
While commercial cylinder prices have come down, domestic LPG prices remain unchanged this month. The last revision for household cylinders was an increase of Rs 50 in April, raising the price of a 14.2 kg cylinder to Rs 853 for general users and Rs 553 for Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries.
LPG prices are reviewed and adjusted at the start of each month, and rates can vary by state due to local taxes and transportation costs. For the latest city-wise rates, customers can visit the official Indane website or contact their local distributor.
This price cut is expected to ease some financial pressure on businesses and contribute to more stable operating costs in the hospitality and service sectors.
