As China has been bought down by the deadly Coronavirus South Korea seems to be its next big target. The country has reported a huge jump in the number of cases in the past 5 days. As per reports, the number of cases has jumped by 11 times in the last 5 days.
The city of Daegu has become the epi-center of the virus in South Korea. A 61-year-old woman from Daegu became the 31st case recorded by the country on February 18. The cases rose from 31 on Tuesday to 346 on Saturday. The 61 years old woman being called “super-spreader”, is believed to have passed the infection to hundreds of fellow worshippers at a church.
Two deaths have also been reported due to virus in Cheongdo county about 25km south of Daegu. The government has declared the area as a special management zone. The government is channeling support to ease a shortage in hospital beds, medical personnel, and equipment.

Busan, South Korea’s second-biggest city, recorded its first two cases on Friday. Several cases have been confirmed in Seoul although the source of infections – what scientists call the index case – has not been traced. For more facts in this regards click here.
