At a time when doctors are praised for their service and are termed as corona warriors, one of them has done a shaming act. A doctor has been accused of a causing sexual assault to a COVID-19 patient in quarantine.
The incident has come to light from Mumbai. A 34-year-old doctor has been booked for alleged sexual assault. A 44-year-old male corona patient has said. Interestingly the accused doctor joined the hospital just a day before the incident. As per police, the case is of inappropriate touching.

Soon the case was booked on the complaint. However, the doctor is not arrested. Rather he is put in quarantine as he came in contact with the patient. A call on his arrest will be taken after the quarantine period, said the local police.

“The doctor was on his first day of duty, having joined on the previous day. Following the receipt of information of misconduct and as per protocol, the administration immediately informed the police. The services of the doctor were terminated“, read the statement from the hospital.
