Cricket legend Shane Warne passed away due to suspected heart attack according to a statement given by his management company in Australia. As report given by Fox Sports the management company of Shane Warne said that he passed away in Koh Samui of Thailand.
The company stated, “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff; he could not be revived,” read a part of the statement. “The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
Shane Warne made a name in International Cricket and was highest wicket taker in history of Test Cricket. He was just behind Muttiah Muralitharan with 708 wickets in his name. He played a total of 194 One Day International matches for Australian Cricket Team in which he took 293 wickets in total.
In his test career he scored a total of 1018 runs in 50 over format matches. He was a leg spinner and has taken 1001 wickets and was first ever bowler in history of cricket to take more than 1000 international wickets.

Shane Warne gave his first International Test debut against India on Sydney Cricket Ground. He was awarded title of one of Wisden’s Five Cricketers of the Century for his 15 year career which started in 1992. He took retirement in 2007 from International cricket. In 2013, he was also given entry in ICC Hall of Fame.
He helped Australia in winning World Cup in 1999 and took most wickets in Ashes Cricket, played between Australia and UK. He took 195 wickets in Ashes Cricket in total. Post retirement from International Cricket he became coach and captain of Rajasthan Royals in IPL and gave victory to the team in first edition of the league.
He had a glowing presence both on and off the pitch and was popular among cricket fans all across the world. He found a great success even as a commentator and was a brilliant analyst. This is an irreplaceable loss to cricket and fans are mourning his death all across the globe.
