Caution – Many people on social media are posting images of QR codes asking for donations for the dhabba. Please do not make donations to any of these people for most of them are a fraud.
Even if you are not a frequent user of social media, still I’m sure you must have seen this video of an elderly couple crying (breaks our hearts) on camera as their dhaba’s sales have gone down owing to the cornavirus pandemic.
The couple has their food-van tucked somewhere in South Delhi and has been selling home-cooked food for 30 years now. However, with coronavirus halting their business, they have been struggling to make ends meet.
The heartbreaking story of the couple recently caught the eye of netizens after Vasundhara Tankha Sharma posted a video by a food blogger featuring the couple. In the video, the lady urges people to go out and eat at Baba ka Dhaba in Malviya Nagar.
And thankfully, the video has gone viral and people, being the good samaritans, are rushing to have the delicious dal, curry, parathas and rice being served by the couple at ₹ 30-50 a plate.
We look at kittens and baby elephants to feel happy.

This is great news to start the day with! Something tells me #BabaKaDaba in #MalviyaNagar is going to have a VERY BUSY day today!

Later, after a good day at work, Baba once again got in front of the camera to share a message.
