Man Arrested In Case Of Jahangirpuri Violence
A 28 year old man who was seen open firing during the Jahangirpuri violence on Saturday in Delhi is now arrested.
A video which has gone viral on social media shows the man wearing blue kurta was firing openly during the violence.
Police said, “The 28-year-old man in the blue kurta, Sonu alias Imam alias Yunus, whose video was being circulated on April 17 on social media for opening fire during the violence in the Jahangirpuri area, Delhi, on April 16, has been nabbed.”
Police squad earlier that day also visited Sonu’s house to search and examine the family members.
Usha Rangnani, DCP said, “A video was being circulated on April 17 on social media showing a man (in blue kurta) opening fire during the violence in Jahangirpuri area on April 16. A police team had gone to his house in CD Park road in his search and for examination of his family members.”
Conditions Till Now
Total 23 people have been arrested along with 2 youngsters till now regarding the violent incident of Jahangirpuri. In the incident nine people were injured which includes a civilian and nine police personnels.
It is assured by Rakesh Asthana, Delhi Police Commissioner during a press conference that strict actions will be taken against those found guilty in this violent incident irrespective of their class, community, creed and religion.

Prime Accused Ansar Arrested
On Sunday Delhi Police were seen taking prime accused of Jahangirpuri violence ‘Ansar’ to Rohini Court.
Accused was seen openly firing during the riots held, he entered the court while performing the signature move ‘Main Jhukega Nahi Sala’ of Allu Arjun’s famous movie Pushpa while smiling. He was the main conspirator behind the violent incident of Jahangirpuri & clearly giving out the message that he is not feeling guilty of what he has done.
