In a heartwarming gesture, Delhi Police on Monday performed a siren parikrama around the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in Delhi. The same also came into the notice of PM Narendra Modi and he lauded the gesture by the police on Twitter.
This was done as a gesture to celebrate the Gurudwara authority for serving ‘langar Sewa’ to the ‘Corona warriors’ and the needy even during the tough times like this. The video of the same was shared by the Deputy Commissioner of Police.

The Gurudwara has remained open for the visitors while following the health norms. Anyone who visits the place is asked to use sanitizer. Only then he/she is allowed to proceed with enjoying the delicious food served at the holy place.
Maintaining health norms is vital as Delhi is one of the worst affected places in the country due to the coronavirus. The death toll in Delhi due to coronavirus stands around 60.
Later PM Narendra Modi also lauded the gesture by the Gurudwara.
