You got it right, it’s Engineer’s day.
Indians across the country celebrate September 15 as engineer’s day to pay tribute to the celebrated engineer and Bharat Ratna recipient Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. And this year is no differnet.
Tracking the history of the legend, Muddenahalli was born in 1861 near Chikkaballapur. He is known as the country’s one of the most prolific civil engineers, dam builders, statesmen and economists.
While engineering, on one side, is about building massive structures, designing the unimaginable, on the other hand, it is also about clearing backlogs, planning Goa trips and inevitable struggle of being unawre of what one’s future is gonna be like.
