It’s a beneficial programme run by The Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) with the help of which members can avail of their pensions without any delay, just after a few days from their retirement. Under the shadow of this programme, members can get their PPO or pension payment order issued, on retirement day only. All the regional EPFO offices organise a monthly webinar “Prayaas an endeavour to release PPO on the day of retirement”, Under this scheme.
Nirabh Sewa to Get EPFO Pension Without Delay
EPFO offices conduct webinars, in which employers are also invited, to educate all the employees retiring within 3 months, said EPFO.
Recently, EPFO has shared some benefits of Nirabh Sewa through its official Twitter handle.
A PPO number is necessary to get all the employees registered. PPO number, which is a unique 12- digit code, helps pensioners to receive their financial benefits. Along with this number, Life Certificate is also necessary to avail of the pension benefits.

Simple Steps to Know Your PPO Number:
- First, open this official EPFO portal.
- Now check on the left side, there is an option “Knows your PPO No.”, click on it.
- Next either select ‘Bank Acc.No. Search’ or ‘Mem. ID Search’ to get your PPO number.
- After entering either of the details just click on Submit and it will show you your PPO number.
