In India, February marks the arrival of warmer temperatures after a chilly winter. It’s known as the Magha month in the Hindu calendar, and it’s a very auspicious period to engage in religious activities. Even though there aren’t many festivals in February, there are still lots of significant fasts, observances, and auspicious days.
Shattila Ekadashi, Pradosh Vrat, and the solemn Kalashtami fast are all observed at the beginning of the month. These are three important Hindu celebrations. After that, there’s Mauni Amavasya, a day set aside for cleansing rituals, which falls around the middle of the month.
