You don’t need to be grown-up or rich to help someone. All you need is empathy. And if you don’t believe us then this 12 years old girl has just proven that. At a time when migrant workers are facing the worst of the times and are dying, they need our help to reach their homes.
Niharika Dwivedi a class 7th student from Noida took out the money saved in her piggy bank to send 3 migrant homes. The girl booked flight tickets for 3 migrants workers who belonged to Jharkhand. She paid Rs 48,530 for this which she had saved from her pocket money over 2 years.
“Watching news channels and struggle of these people have inspired me to help migrant labourers in reaching home. They have contributed so much to society and it is our responsibility to help them in this crisis. I had collected 48,530 from my pocket money and I used it to help these three people out of which one is a cancer patient“, said Niharika.
