Alternatives For 10 & 15-year-Old Vehicle Owners of Delhi
For the owners of 10 & 15-year-old diesel and petrol-powered vehicles, the Delhi Government has given them alternate options. They can modify their vehicles to be electric if they wish to continue to drive in the NCT of Delhi. The modification can be done through a process named Retrofitting. The electric kits will be retrofitted to the vehicles. However, this type of modification can only be done by the agencies that have the approval of the Transport Department.
Other than switching to electric mode the owners of 10 & 15-year-old vehicles have multiple options. Apart from retrofitting the electric panels, the owners can sell their cars to other states. However, they can only sell after getting NOC from the transport department. One more option is to avail a new vehicle after scrapping the old one.
