In the ‘Henley Passport Index 2021‘, Japan has the world’s most powerful passport for the fourth in a row. Citizens of this country can visit 192 countries around the world visa-free. Singapore’s passport is ranked second place with 192 countries open for visa-free visits.
As the per latest Henley passport Index report, India’s rank has slipped by six places from the last year to 90 on the list, which lists the world’s most travel-friendly passports. However, here are the ranks of the passports of countries based on the data analysis provided by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Lists Of The World’s Most Powerful Passports
1. Japan, Singapore (Score: 192)
Japan and Singapore with a visa-free score of 192 are ranked at the top in the lists of most powerful passports in the world.
2. Germany, South Korea (Score: 190)
South Korea along with Germany stands at the second position in the lists.
3. Finland, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain (Score: 189)
Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, and Italy share the third spot in lists of the Henley Passport Index 2021 released on the basis of IATA data analysis.
4. Austria, Denmark (Score: 188)
Denmark and Austria rank at 4th with a visa-free score of 188.
5. France, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden (Score: 187)
Five countries are ranked fifth in the lists of the world’s most powerful passports. The countries are France, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden with 187 points each.
6. Belgium, New Zealand, Switzerland (Score: 186)
Belgium, New Zealand and Switzerland shared the sixth spot in the Henley Passport Index 2021 after France, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, and Portugal.
7. Czech Republic, Greece, Malta, Norway, United Kingdom, United States (Score: 185)
The United States along with four other countries (Czech Republic, Greece, Malta, Norway) make their spot at 7th in the 10 most powerful passports in the world.
8. Australia, Canada (Score: 184)
Canada and Australia are ranked at the eighth spot with 184 points each on the list.
9. Hungary (Score: 183)
Hungary scores 183 and holds a ninth place in the Henley Passport Index 2021.
10. Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia (Score: 182)
Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia jointly hold the tenth spot with scores of 182.
