IGNOU Admissions 2022: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of submission of application forms for this year. Now the students can submit the online applications till April 17, 2022.
Official notification is issued by The Regional Director IGNOU Kashmir. Regarding submitting the online application form for the students who are planning to join BSCN and B.Ed programmes through the entrance test.
“Admission and Re-Registration for Jan 2022 session has been extended up to 31st March 2022.”
As per Kamlesh Meena in-Charge Regional Director IGNOU Kashmir, “World’s Largest Open University” has sent out notification for “very popular and demanding programmes” like B.Ed and BSCN for which the students will get admission on the basis of entrance exams.
The notification says,
- “For these two programmes admissions are done on the basis of entrance tests qualified by the applicants.”
- “For the January 2022 session the last date for submission of online application forms is 17th April 2022.”

Note that the applicants who are seeking admissions in these entrance test based programmes have to pass the eligibility criteria first.
As per the notification, “The information regarding the eligibility criteria is available on the official website of IGNOU.”

As Per Dr Kamlesh Meena
Kamlesh Meena said exams for admission in both programmes are going to be conducted by the Regional Centre Srinagar.
Said, “The applicants who intend to seek admission are advised to go through eligibility criteria prescribed by IGNOU Headquarters for getting admission in these two offering programmes.”
Continued, “The extended date will facilitate the students whose results are yet to be completed from the conventional colleges and also for the learners who could not seek admission due to pandemic situations.”
“The extension in admission date will enhance the enrollment number ratio in Kashmir valley which is an honour to our University to impart education to the masses.”
