Following the arrest of Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Maharashtra minister Aslam Shaikh acknowledged on Monday that he had been invited to the Cordelia cruise party by Fashion TV chairman Kashiff Khan, which took place on November 8.
NCP leader Nawab Malik on Tuesday shared a screenshot of a purported Whatsapp chat between witness KP Gosavi and an informer that includes the name of Kashiff Khan, on his official Twitter handle and questioned the connection between Khan and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede.
According to the WhatsApp conversation, Mr. Malik voiced concerns about Mr. Khan’s omission from the investigation.
“WhatsApp conversation between KP Gosavi and a source who mentioned Khan is seen here. Because Kashiff Khan isn’t being questioned, why? How are Kashiff Khan and Sameer Dawood Wankhede related? “Mr. Malik tweeted this.
According to Maharashtra minister Aslam Shaikh, he attended a party hosted by Fashion TV’s Kashiff Khan in which Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau’s Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede on November 8 in which the actor’s son was detained.
During a press appearance, Mr. Shaikh said he was unaware of the man and did not possess a way to get in touch with him.
“As a clergyman, I am often invited to parties and other social gatherings. One Kashiff Khan asked me to the boat party. It’s not like I’ve ever met him, and I don’t have his phone number. If there is any proof, then it should be brought to the attention of the court “As Mr. Shaikh had said,
Two authorities are actively investigating the whole matter, according to the Maharashtra Minister.
Pune Police, meanwhile, filed a new case of deception at Bhosari police station against Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) witness Kiran Gosavi on Friday.
Gosavi has previously been charged with three crimes in Pune. He now has four cases filed against him in the Pune area, the most recent of which was filed in Pimpri Chinchwad.
