Pink ball test is a new format and every match is different for the cricket teams. Both India and Sri Lanka has played three pink ball tests and have faced same results. India has won two of them in home ground and lost one to Australia in Adelaide. Sri Lanka has won against Pakistan and West Indies and lost one to Australia.
The two pink ball tests that were played in very different conditions, one was played in Lucknow and other in Mohali. The third match will again be played in a different climate which is Bengaluru. Bengaluru has been a lucky ground for Indian cricket team since 2010. Out of five test series played in the city India has won four which is a good number. The playing strip is mainly brown but has a hint of grass and the temperature of the ground is mostly 32 degrees. All eyes will be on Kusal Mendis who has replaced Pathum Nissanka who is not playing due to back injury.
