On Friday, BCCI announced the Indian senior women squad for only ODI, Test match, and T20 series against England. As expected the in-form opener Shafali Verma makes a place in test and ODI squads. Also, the senior pacer Shikha Pandey called back for all the important tours ahead of the 50-over World Cup. Previously, Shikha Pandey failed to make a place in the home series against South Africa in March this year.

Ramesh Powar has been appointed as a newly-appointed coach. The former India off-spinner replaced WV Raman in the position on Thursday.
