- Booking Tickets: Enables the booking of both reserved and open tickets.
- Bookings for Platform and Parcel: Enables users to schedule platform tickets and oversee parcel services.
- Train and PNR Inquiries: Offers up-to-date information on Passenger Name Record (PNR) statuses and train timetables.
- Food Ordering: Allows travellers to place food orders while travelling.
- Rail Madad: Provides a forum for submitting grievances and requesting support.
The app seeks to simplify the user experience by merging various services, doing away with the need for several apps and cutting down on device storage use.
Users are invited to take part in the “SwaRail” SuperApp’s beta testing phase by the Ministry of Railways. The software is available for download from the relevant app stores for anyone interested.
While new users may register with little data entry, existing users of RailConnect or the UTS Mobile App can log in with their existing credentials. To assist with adjustments before the formal public debut, the ministry urges users to submit comments during this period.
