They have acquired skills that lead them to dominate the other cricket teams participating each time in the Under-19 world cup. Every single player has shown excellent teamwork. Won Under-19 World Cup in 2000
India won the first under-19 world cup in the year 2000, they have tasted the victory for the first. Showing their dominating presence to the entire world. This is the year after which we also got our future star player Yuvraj Sing. In the final match, the Indian team defeated the hosts of the series Sri Lanka by 6 wickets. Mohammad Kaif was leading the team at that time. Our team was chasing the target of 179 runs.
Under-19 World Cup 2008
At this time India was seeing forward to defeating South Africa’s cricket team in the Under-19 world cup finals. In this match, viral Kohli played a major role become the biggest star. Manish Pandey and Ravindra Jadeja were too part of our Indian squad and played a crucial role in winning our 2nd world cup. Finally, our boys also defeated Sout Africa and won the world cup.

World Cup 2012 was India VS Australia
After winning the world cup in 2008 after 4 years India shows its glory for the third time in 2012. They defeated the Australian team and overcome one more step to be undefeated champions. In this match, Unmukt Chand made a century and Hanuman Vihari was the star of that match. India needed 226 runs to win in this match and defeated the host Australian team.
World Cup 2018
History repeats itself and so does the match of India vs Australia 2012 was repeated in 2018 under-19 world cup. In New Zealand, the final match of the world cup 2018 was played between India and Australia. In the leadership of Prithvi Shaw, the Indian squad defeats the Australian team by 8 wickets.
Under-19 World Cup 2022
Now this year our boys in blue have again shown their hard work and won the Under-19 world cup title for the Fifth time. India defeats England by 4 wickets under the captaincy of Yash Dhull. The match was played at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground, England. Our team showed exceptional skills and has made everyone proud. Just think that how they have prepared for the match in such hard times when our nation is suffering from the COVID-19 situation.
