Few iPhone devices will soon get the featureful update of iOS 17 very soon. However, owners of some old-generation iPhones will have to understand that they will not get the iOS 17 update as Apple has dropped the support.

If you are the owner of an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X, you will not get the latest iOS 17 update for your smartphone. Because for your smartphone to support the latest iOS version Apple Bionic chip A12 or later is needed.

The forthcoming iOS operating system, set to be released this autumn, offers an impressive update. Although the changes between the previous version and iOS 17 are not significant, there are still noteworthy enhancements, improved stability, and a few convenient features.
One of the notable additions is the customizable call screen called Contact Posters. It allows users to modify the appearance of incoming calls. Another new feature, Live Voicemail, enables the phone to display the real-time scrolling text of what an unknown caller is saying.

iOS 17 also introduces updates to SharePlay, allowing simultaneous music or video streaming on two devices. Messages have received some updates as well, including the option to create Stickers and a new safety feature named Check-In. Furthermore, Siri has been enhanced to eliminate the need for users to say “Hey Siri” to activate the voice assistant. Additionally, a Standby mode has been introduced, effectively transforming the iPhone into a smart display.
Developers can access the iOS 17 beta software later today, and a public beta is scheduled for release next month. The official release is anticipated to be available this fall
