After a record-breaking season in which MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won five championship titles, India’s favourite domestic cricket league returns. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is slated to begin on March 22, 2024.
The Indian Premier League is the world’s second-richest domestic competition, after only America’s National Football League. This T20 cricket league attracts top international players and promises high-octane encounters with tough competition among franchise owners.
The 17th season of the T20 cricket league, organised by the Board of Council for Cricket in India (BCCI) and sponsored by TATA, will begin on March 22, 2024, with a match between two of the franchise’s most popular teams, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
Devon Conway has been ruled out of the IPL 2024, with Australian all-rounder Pat Cummins taking over as Sunrisers Hyderabad captain.
