In a post-match presentation, he said – “Extraordinary! I was taken aback and couldn’t believe the way he (Cummins) was hitting the run. As yesterday in the nets, he was getting bowled and I was beside him batting.”
He further added – “I told him to time the ball as he was overhitting. As top order batters, we have to take the responsibility. We all have the ability to hit the ball that far. In the powerplay in both innings, the pitch was quite the same. After the powerplay, it got a lot easier I guess,”
