Valentine’s Week in just upon us, which means time to get a bit more cozy with your partner. But ohh! What if you don’t have a partner? Nevermind, digitalisation has got you sorted.
Happens to be, now those who don’t have a partner to spend their Valentine week with can actually “buy” a partner on Amazon. Yea!! you read it right.
Amazon Dating is the “parody” website that lets you do so. However, the catch it that the website does not really let you buy people or something and is only for fun purposes.
The sarcastic website has been created by content creator Ani Acopian, Suzy Shinn, Morgan Gruer & Thinko, to take a dig at the toxicity that comes along with online dating culture.
And to really define toxicity, the creators have put a distinct catch. As you click on the “Your Last Relationship” tab on the parody website, you are instantly reminded of why it was your “last relationship”.
To try the fun website, we bought Brad, who is 57-years-old and has just filled a divorce with his wife (who is also on the dating website). His further description is way to hilarious hinting the creative mind of the creators.

One person who bought Brad reviewing the product said: “I’ve noticed that I am fully energized when I take it in the morning and it’s great because it lasts the entire day”.
For some people, the product wasn’t as good as they expected. One of them said that he “bought” 78-year-old Cora and she had died in a few months of purchase.
“I bought this as a birthday present to my single self in November. Had a good life, really enjoyed, easy to hold. But it died just last month! it was working at like half strength. it was extremely weak and then it died completely. I expected a reliable product but it’s not worth the buy if it dies only a few months later. Very disappointing!” read the faux comment.

Worst thing about Amazon Dating is that it’s always out of stock.
