Ok!! this is new and equally bizarre.
Indian weddings are famous for their rituals and traditions. However, like every other thing in the world, the pandemic has inspired people to practice new ways to do anything and everything and weddings are no exception.
From a groom tying a mangalsutr on phone to a couple wearing matching facemasks on their ‘the day,’ such instances have become the new normal.
Now adding to the same list, a couple has come up with a brand new wedding ritual and it involves face masks. You must have seen couples exchanging garlands? Well, this ritual is about exchanging masks.
A video of a couple making each other wear face masks while guests applaud for them has surfaced online. As the video became viral, people have termed the ritual being practiced in the same as ‘mask pehnaai ki rasam‘.
