Motivation For Workout? Aren’t We All Looking For Same

Sticking to a workout routine is a daunting task for many of us out there. I am sure at least 8 in 10 people will relate to this, but you should not be proud of it. Every year we start at a very high note and we go to gym and parks to exercise but as we count more days we start losing motivation for workout.

After a lot of research on internet I sorted some points that might help you to stick to workout routine. It will not only help you to achieve your goal but will also boost your self-confidence. Discipline is like serotonin, more the better. You must have noticed that if you keep working out for a month you start being confident at work and wherever else you go.

Let’ start making a note on how to keep your motivation for workout alive.

Start With Getting Yourself To Workout

You can workout anywhere; it can be your gym, terrace, balcony or a park. If you can just take yourself to your workout space everyday then you can surely have a routine in life. The hardest part is to wake up from bed and reach to your gym or park. Once you will reach your space you will automatically feel better and you will be good.

Play The Long Shot And Focus

Whenever we start with high motivation we do exercise vigorously. And in the process we expect to get immediate results on our body. When we don’t see those results we feel sad and slowly motivation washes away from our lives. Don’t get bummed and start on a slow and steady note. Design a routine that does not exhausts you in a week or two. Understand your body and listen to what it says. If your body is not strong enough to carry on with a vigorous routine then don’t push it.

People feel that if on some days they don’t want to hit the gym; it is a sign of weakness. This is killing your motivation and focus. Accept that its ok to take breaks and you are not weak if you wake up one day and not feeling to go for workout. On that day take rest and don’t start looking at blog articles to keep you motivated. Rather take rest, make some good breakfast and give peace to your mind and body. You will wake up next day with motivation to workout that way.

5 Minutes Workout Counts

You might be having a bad day and next morning you might not be feeling any better than yesterday. This can happen to anybody and you don’t need to be hard on yourself for that. On such days just go to gym and do one or two very simple exercises for few minutes. That way you will integrate fitness as integral part of life.

Celebrate Small Wins

Make small goals and count them only to embrace them. For example, increasing your plank timing by 30 seconds at the gym. Bring a smile on your face when you achieve it. Setting a lot of small milestones will give you happiness. This will make you stronger and in a flick your life will get changed and workout will become part of your life.
