The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday didn’t consider Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the next annual contract for Indian senior men players.
BCCI notably sorted players among four categories (A+, A, B, C) and none of them has MS. Dhoni’s name. Dhoni, until last year was in list A category which means he was paid Rs. 5-crore by the BCCI as a salary.
The contracts, from October 2019 to September 2020, are in four categories – A+ (Rs 7 crore), A (Rs 5 crore), B (Rs 3 crore) and C (Rs 1 crore). 27 Players were divided among these categories.

Only three Indian players – Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah – made it to the A+ category.
