Bababhai Pathan, a Muslim man from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, got the two daughters of a Hindu woman married as per Hindu customs and beliefs. As per some reports, the kind man had adopted the two girls when they became orphans.
Howevere, the girls are not orphans. They are survived by their mother Bhusare, who lives in Ahmednagar and ties rakhi to Bababhai Pathan every year, as she doesn’t have a real brother.

Bhusare has lost her husband so Pathan took the responsibility of her rakhi sister’s daughters and got them married when the time was right.
According to reports, Pathan who was like a maternal uncle to the two girls got them married with his money and the ceremony was held as per Hindu rituals.
