The country is in an effort to recover from the Corona epidemic. Many children have lost their parents during the pandemic whereas many children have fallen victim to this. Keeping these circumstances, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that no registration fee for 10th -12th students who have lost their parents due to Covid-19 infection.
This provision has been introduced as a special measure for the 2021-22 academic year. In the official notification, the Central Board of Secondary Education said that as a special measure for the academic session 2021-22, CBSE has decided that neither examination fee nor registration fee will be charged by the board from those students who have parents – Father or Surviving or Legal Guardian / Adoptive Parent has been lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Required Details
Central Board of Secondary Education has said that to avail this facility, schools must provide the details of such students along with submitting the List of Candidates (LOC). Moreover, the board has split this term into two parts; first-term exams will be conducted in November-December. In such a situation, the board has directed all the schools and principals to submit the LOC by 30 September.
It has been explained that the CBSE board will pay Rs 1500 per candidate for 5 subjects to schools located in India and Rs 10000 per candidate for 5 subjects to schools located outside India. Moreover, the schools in India must pay Rs 1200 for 5 subjects for SC/ST candidates of Delhi government schools, and Rs 300 for additional/optional subjects per candidate for schools in India.
