As the Coronavirus makes major inroads in Europe ‘Italy’ has come under its radar. The country has reported a whopping 50% increase in the number of cases. So, far over 1,694 confirmed coronavirus cases have come from the country. The death toll stands at 34.
Amidst this Indian student stuck in the country have given an SOS call. Around 85 Indian students are stranded for a week. The reports have come from the university town of Pavia in north Italy’s Lombardy. The students have sent evacuation calls to the Indian authorities.
Students are in panic as one of the University’s staff has been tested positive for the virus. The coronavirus has been taking a global panic face as Iran reported the 2nd highest deaths after China. The death toll in Iran crossed 200. Now, with Italy in panic, Europe is the new junction for the virus.

Meanwhile, India has been carrying evacuation of citizens from China. Last month the country evacuated over 1000 Indians from the epicenter of virus Wuhan. The authorities have assured that they would reach to the students in Italy at the earliest.
