A man of Pakistani origin did an unpleasant act on the Holi day of Eid yesterday. The news has come in from the city of Derby in England. The man attacked the historic Guru Arjan Dev Ji Gurdwara in the city. The attack took place on Monday morning.
In the attack front, doors of the gurdwara at Stanhope Street in Derby were smashed. The man also left a note. The note had a phone number and had writings of help Kashmir. The attacker was arrested by the police. ” Try to help Kashmir people otherwise problem everyone “, read the note.
Sikh Federation UK confirmed the attack and physical damage. They said that police has identified the person. As per police, the incident can be linked to the stabbing of a person in the vicinity of the gurudwara. Police said that he is the same person who is accused of stabbing.

Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh condemned the attack. “ Such intolerance and hatred must end if humanity has to survive, especially when the world is in the midst of an unprecedented crisis“, he tweeted.
