72 Families in Delhi’s South Delhi are sent under 14 days ‘quarantine’. This comes after a Pizza delivery agent has tested COVID-19 positive. A 19-year-old pizza delivery agent of Mojo Pizza’s Malviya Nagar outlet has been tested positive.
In the last 15 days that he worked, he delivered to 72 families in areas like Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar, and Savitri Nagar. The agent has been admitted to the government-run RML hospital. The 72 families are now quarantined and are being monitored by the district authorities. The delivery boy was asymptomatic for COVID-19. That is a case where the effected doesn’t show symptoms. However, such a person can spread the virus.
Around 20 delivery boys who came in contact with the positive teenager have been quarantined at a facility in Chhattarpur. Meanwhile, the pizza joint where he worked has shut all its branches for 14 days. The possibility of the delivery boy getting the virus from any of the 72 families is also been explored.
