As per a report, India is the 3rd largest consumer of porn (despite porn ban) and Indian women make the fourth-largest share of women audience to the world’s total number. Moreover, the lockdown has contributed to a 95% increase in porn traffic in India.
In a nutshell, we watch a lot of porn. But also there are many questions surrounding our habit. Like is it healthy? If yes, how much of it is healthy?
There are enough evidences to prove that watching porn is totally harmless — unless of course, you get addicted to it. Actually, watching porn releases happy hormones that help you destress and make you happy. But we must know when and where draw a line.

To find an answer to how much porn is good, Health Shots got in touch with Dr Bhavna Barmi, who is a renowned clinical psychologist. The doctor suggested that watching four hours of pon in a week is totally harmless. But it doesn’t mean that you much watch for four hours in one go.
Too much porn, especially if you are married, can be bad for your health, and sexual experiences. Clearly, it would result in higher expectations from your partner and not everyone is known to that route until you aren’t patient enough to learn together.

In fact, according to a study published in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health watching too much porn and frequently masturbating can lead to sexual dysfunction in both men and women.
Dr Barmi suggests some things to keep in mind when it comes to watching porn.
One should not overwatch porn for it makes such people less successful in sexual relations with their partner. Also, watching too much porn makes one dependent.
There are people who would stay at home and neglect other important works just to watch porn, which is a clear sign of addiction. You can talk with your partner about it and if you don’t have one, indulge in sports and other activities to spend time.
