The Bhoomi Pujan for the proposed Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya would soon take place. As per reports from India Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would perform the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ for the iconic temple’s construction. This is expected to be done in the month of Shravan which is beginning from 6th July.
“UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath came to meet the president of the temple trust and enquired about his health. Both also discussed preparations that are being made for the grand Ram temple construction in Ayodhya“, said the Spokesperson of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The ‘Bhumi Poojan’ program, was originally scheduled for July 2. However, recent developments between India and China in Ladakh have pushed it further. Meanwhile, a ‘Rudrabhishek’ at the proposed site of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple has been performed on 10th June.
Mahant Nritya Gopal Das of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will write a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi inviting home for the Bhoomi Pujan soon. In November last year, the Supreme Court settled the decades-old matter in a historic judgment.
