Ending the wait of lakhs of students Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) announced the class 10th and 12th board results on Saturday that is 27th June 2020. The results were made live on the official website. The result of high school has been 83.31% and the intermediate result has been 74.63% said the state’s chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
For toppers, the results have been double good news as the state government has announced rewards for them. The toppers will get ₹1 lakh cash and a laptop said the Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma. Further, the government will also build roads to their house (in case there are no pucca roads) said the CM Adityanath.
Praising the board the CM said despite the Covid-19 outbreak, UPMSP conducted exams & declared results on time. The data shows that Girls outperformed boys in both high school and intermediate exams. The pass percentage for class 10 is 83.31 while it is 81.96 percent for class 12. Anurag Malik topped the class 12 exam with 97 percent marks.
Riya Jain from Bhagpat topped the class 10 with 96.67% marks. The digital marks sheets would be made available to all the students soon. “We will provide digital mark sheets. The students will able to get it within three days and it will be valid as original mark sheets“, said the deputy CM.
