Local boy Shahbaz Nadeem has been roped in place of Kuldeep Yadav for the 3rd and final test against South Africa starting from Saturday in Ranchi. The left-arm spinner got his debut cap from skipper Kohli.

Kuldeep, who was the first choice for the Ranchi test was rested out due to shoulder injury. Shahbaz is awarded for this spectacular performance in the domestic circuit. The spinner has taken 50 plus wicket for his home side Jharkhand in consecutive seasons.

Pacer Ishant Sharma is rested for the 3rd and final test. India has already sealed the three-match test series 2-0 after thumping South Africa in Vizag and Pune.
In Ranchi, India would look to continue its winning streak and whitewash the visitors. India who is on top of the ICC Test Championship points table with 200 points would add another 40 if they triumph in Ranchi.
