Coronavirus is bad, but it has also inspired many people to come up with creative things and ideas. And the recent one on the list is the brand new version of a corona inspired Kolkata delicacy sandesh.
The new delicacy is called “corona sandesh” showcased at a sweet shop in Kolkata and people have mixed feelings about the same. Besides the sandesh, the picture also shows another food type inspired by the novel virus – corona cupcakes.
As per a report published on a popular Bengali daily Anandabazar Patrika, the owner of the sweet shop came up with the idea to spread awareness about Coronavirus.

And if you think why sweet shops in Bengal are open despite the country-wide lockdown, then it is due to the order by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. She had allowed the sweet shops to remain open for a maximum of four hours across the state.
Soon after the announcement buyers flocked to different stores to buy sweets and to present them with something new, the shop came up with this sweet.
