Indian Cricket Team is currently suffering from multiple injuries. Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the series due to hamstring injury. Star batsman Surya Kumar Yadav will also be not playing the match due to a hairline injury in hands. The three match T20 International series with Sri Lanka will start from February 24, Thursday in Lucknow.
The International Series will follow bio bubble protocol. With such last moment development it is highly doubtful that BCCI will announce a replacement of both the players. With such an incident the squad size of Indian Cricket Team has reduced to 16.
Surya Kumar Yadav showed an exemplary performance in the third match of T20 International series against West Indies at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. He smashed a total of 65 runs against 31 balls in the match.
